Bikeability Discounts launched
Today has seen the launch of the pilot Bikeability Discounts service to offer a tiered loyalty program to pupils passing through the Bikeability scheme in four areas throughout the UK. Pilots are running in Bristol, Derby, South Gloucestershire and York with pupils who pass their level 1 and 2 Bikeability certificates receiving free membership to the Bikeability Discounts program.
Bikeability Discounts provides a range of targeted discounts and offers specially arranged to meet the interests of the pupils taking part in the Bikeability scheme. Pupils passing their level 1 and 2 certificates will be able to take advantage of a range of discounts, both online and down the high street. Retailers such as JJB Sports, CDWOW, New Balance and many more provide discounts on products and services for the members to enjoy.
In addition to level 1 & 2 Bikeability certificate holders being entitled to redeem a host of discounts, there are also a second tier of discounts available for those pupils passing the level 3 certificate. The tiered discounts available were created as per our clients request to incentivise those students passing through levels one and two to continue the safety course through to level three, ensuring a higher level of proficiency when using their bicycles on the country’s roads.
The pilot service will be running until October 2010 at which point we hope to be able to launch a successful pilot for national roll out.
